Dead Like ME

Another minor production. This show, is dry like a spare rib. I enjoy this show despite it's late time slot. don't feel obligated, but you should watch this show at least once. Oh, buy the way, the main character is a memebr of MENSA, which is kinda weird. It's about a girl that died and became a grimreaper (among numerous others). She tries to balance her jobs of collecting souls and working at "happy times", a fairly ironic mix of professions. One Love.

T.V.

Alright, it seems as thought I've been watching WAY more T.V, than movies than lately but regardless, this show is wicked. Denis Leary pretty much incorporates his whole comic routine into this show, added with drama and sentimentality. This weekly indulgence is worth the watch. OL.

Kenny Vs. Spenny

Another T.V. Show. This is a Canadian show that has two best friends (but you wouldn't think they like eachother by the way they treat eachother) who have challenges on who is the best at something. Past challenges include, who do old people like better, who can drink the most, and who can dance the longest. At the end of each episode, a winner is declared and he gets to choose an embarassment for the other. Kenny(left) always cheats, and usually wins. when the challenge was "Who is the funniest", spenny tried to do a standup routine, and kenny instead did a practical joke, where he sent a letter telling spenny he had slept with someone who had aids, throwing spenny's game way off cause he thought he had aids. hence kenny won, cause the joke was judged to be pretty hilarious, just cause spnney fell for it. anyway, check this show out, it's on showcase.

It Might Happen To YOU!

So this being the 2nd MAJOR motion picture Film I've seen in the last while, it was well, decent. I pretty much knew what to expect from it, crude jokes. However, the one thing that relieved this film from the mediocrity of these sexually oriented jokes were the genius of steve Carell. this guy is a stud. his subtleties of everyday common reactions deserve recognition. So this movie is not too bad based on his amazingly original humour. Peep it. Ebonics.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

So, I heard from some friends, a very specific friend to be exact, Amanda Colville, that this movie was the shizz. Well, I'm sorry but this movie was not all it was supposed to be. Sure, some action, as you would expect, but the plot line, well...a little predictable, and not the kind of predictable where you say, "well, I knew what was gonna happen but still, kept me interested", instead, it was just a special effects fest (once again, kind of anticipated), still, worth a watch, but not one I would say is in my top, ummm....250. Peace.

The Colbert Report

O.k, so I usually only do movie's on this page, but i gots to "represent' a little television here. The Colbert Report, pronounced the Coal-bare Re-pore, is friggin' amazing. It is an offshoot of The daily show. He is a former correspondent for Jon Stewart. It is more comedy oriented, but still very much political fake news. Check it out, seriously, some funny stuff.

Do You Got The Blues?!

This movie is, well, spectacular. I know that's quite a drastic term to use, but I feel this film requires that explanation. The leading man, Schultze, is an unemployed accordian player. His local music lcub in germany has it's 50th anniversary, sparking him to travel to America and discover a world left yet undiscovered to him, the world of blues. Check this shizz out. ****

Mean Creek

This movie is about a bunch of kids who lure a teen into the wood sto seek reveange on some fat kid that beat up one of their younger brothers. it's mad crazy. If anything, it involves a culkin, Rory Culkin, so you know it's tight. ****

Mean Creek

Suspect Zero

This movie is pretty intense. any movie with ben Kingsley always rules though. A mysterious serial killer is hunting other serial killers, is he good or bad? regardless, good flick.

Suspect Zero

The Machinist

O.K. so this movie is pretty much about an industrial worker who hasn't slept in a year begins to doubt his own sanity. that's all I'm gonna say on the subject. thanks to my friend Janie, I checked this flick out. Definately worth a watch. p.s. it can't be healthy for Christian bale to get that skinny. One Love. The Machinist

Lot's O' Guns

Sin City
I just watched this flick finally like a week ago, and it's pretty good. I heard mixed reviews from it however. I personally liked the original black and white with a splash of red or yellow once in a while. Worth a watch. ****
Sin City

Assault on Precinct 13
A pretty goodmovie, I enjoyed it. The cast all did a pretty good job, and John Leguiziamo reprised a cracked out character, in some ways similar to his role in "Spun". ***

Mark Wahlberg...Still Black

Four Brothers

This movie is actually pretty decent. It get's pretty intense at times, but also kind of unbelievable due to the fact that they don't get killed by all the detroit thugs they take on, and kind of a predictable ending. All The same, a very good movie and certainly is worth going and checking out. ****

Surprise! It's me, The Peebles

BAADASSSSS!- This Movie starring Mario Van Peebles is actually not too bad. I I had my doubts due to the fact that it starred Mario van Peebles but I was surprised. It focuses on the life of his father who was a film producer in the 70's. But really, what movie that is set in the 70's isn't ussually at least decent. Peebles is a Pimp in this joint. ****

Flicks

Fantastic Four- Do Not Waste Your Time!! The only good things about this movie is the special effects and the exquisite Jessica Alba. The rest of the movie is full of corny lines like "It's clobberin' time". definately do not waste 10 bones on this enormous waste of time. I would even re-think renting it, well...mayeb rent it just so you can agree with me. *

The image “http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/new_line_cinema/wedding_crashers/weddingcrashers_bigposter.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. Wedding Crashers- This Movie is hilarious. It has been a while since I have seen a movie that made me laugh out loud throughout the whole flick. Vince Vaughn does his usual character of a fast talking sass machine, and it works splendidly. Owen Wilson also does his re-occuring character, seen in such films as... all of his movies, yet so awsome. Christopher Walken does great work, as does Rachel McAdams. The best part, however, came near the end with a surprising (yet not) cameo, I won't say who, cause it's funnier when you see it. "Mom, meatloaf, now!!!!" ****

Charlie And The Chocolate Factory- This re-make of the original starring Gene Wilder, is also an excellent movie. Aside from Johnny Depp doing a great job of playing Willy Wonka, without copying Wilder's original version, Tim Burton makes some changes that add to making it an entertaining creation. The oompa loompa's are a nice change, dissapointing at first, but then the change to a small indian guy, multiplied by a hundred, begins to grow on you. The new songs are also burtonriffic. *****

Krazy

Hotel Rwanda- This is a great movie. If you are going to watch it though make sure you don't get disturbed by violent images. It is more heart wrenching when you come to realization that the events depicted in the movie actually happened. Don't miss this one. *****
